Registered Nurse - Emergency DepartmentThis is a full-time position with a schedule from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM.The competent Nurse provides routine and complex care in a high-acuity, Advanced Cardiac hospital setting. This role includes working with adult and pediatric patients, with a focus on designated Stroke, STEMI, Trauma, and Resuscitation cases. The Nurse practices independently, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care and developing the ability to manage clinical contingencies.Utilize the nursing process to provide assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.Current RN License in the state of Texas or compact.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
