Full Stack Software EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a collaborative development team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of modern software applications.

This position will have an approximately 70% backend / 30% frontend development split. The ideal candidate will bring strong backend development experience with Java, Ruby on Rails, and/or Golang , along with frontend development experience using JavaScript .

The engineer will work across the full software development lifecycle while contributing to cloud-based applications and modern development environments utilizing technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack software applications.
• Focus primarily on backend development while supporting frontend application functionality.
• Develop backend services and application components using Java, Ruby on Rails, and Golang .
• Build and maintain frontend functionality using JavaScript .
• Contribute to applications running in AWS cloud environments.
• Work with containerized applications and Kubernetes .
• Support infrastructure and deployment automation using Terraform and Ansible .
• Collaborate with other engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to scalable, maintainable software solutions.

Required Skills

• Expert-level software development experience.
• Strong Java development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript .
• Experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) .
• Experience with Golang (Go) .
• Strong understanding of full stack development , with an emphasis on backend engineering.
• Experience working with Kubernetes .

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morrisville, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
