CGI is seeking to hire an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with Customer Service Platform/Contact Center technology experience to join our Digital Platform Engineering team. This role will focus on building and enhancing enterprise scale solutions supporting Contact Center operations, Workforce Management (WFM), agent experiences, customer interactions, routing, omnichannel/digital channels, and real time services. This is a Full-Time, On-Sight Employment opportunity located in Plano, TX.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and REST APIs.
• Build scalable microservices, distributed systems, and event driven solutions.
• Integrate applications with Contact Center, WFM, and enterprise platforms.
• Develop secure, resilient, and highly available solutions.
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
• Support applications through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams in an Agile/Scrum or SAFe environment.
• Leverage AI assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong full stack engineer and problem solver who enjoys building scalable, resilient applications and collaborating across engineering, architecture, product, and business teams.
• Core Stack: Java | Spring Boot | React | REST APIs | Microservices | SQL/NoSQL | CI/CD | Distributed Systems
• Domain Focus: Contact Center Technology | Customer Service Platforms | WFM | Omnichannel | Agent Experience
• Skills Required:
• 6-9 years of software development / full stack engineering experience
• Strong hands on Java and Spring Boot
• Strong React or modern JavaScript framework experience
• REST APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems
• RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases
• Automated unit and integration testing
• CI/CD, observability, logging, and monitoring
• Strong understanding of secure software engineering practices
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Contact Center / Domain Experience
• Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
• Contact Center / Customer Service technology platforms
• Workforce Management (WFM)
• Agent desktop / agent experience platforms
• IVR and intelligent routing
• Omnichannel customer interactions
• Voice, chat, and digital channels
• SIP, WebRTC, or CTI technologies
• Real time customer service applications
• Nice to Have:
• Apache Kafka or similar event streaming technologies
• Event driven architecture and asynchronous messaging
• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• JUnit, Jest, Playwright, or React Testing Library
• Agile/Scrum or SAFe experience
• AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar tools
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Field.
