Personal Care Assistant

Home Helpers Home Care of Pacific Palisades is looking for reliable, compassionate team members to provide non-medical support to clients throughout the Los Angeles area. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will help clients with everyday needs while providing friendly companionship and respectful support. This is meaningful work for someone who enjoys helping others and wants to make a positive difference in the lives of the people they serve. Responsibilities Provide companionship and positive social interaction Assist with everyday household tasks and light housekeeping Prepare meals and help with basic meal planning Provide transportation assistance and help with errands Provide medication reminders as directed by the client's care plan Help clients maintain comfortable, organized living spaces Follow established care plans and communicate important client updates Complete accurate care notes and other required documentation Encourage client independence while providing dependable support Qualifications Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working independently with clients Able to follow care instructions and established service plans Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client assignments Flexible availability Previous caregiving, personal care, or home support experience is helpful, but not required What We Offer $19.00–$23.00 per hour Flexible scheduling Paid orientation Paid training Mileage reimbursement Employee referral program Supportive team environment Opportunities to grow within the home care field Work Location: In person #hc259400 #J-18808-Ljbffr
