Warehouse Associate

Join a reputable tier 2 supplier specializing in rubber seals, o-rings, and gaskets. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in overseeing products throughout the distribution process, ensuring they are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer-specific orders from the pick sheet printer.
• Navigate the warehouse efficiently to pick orders with high attention to detail.
• Pack orders in small boxes for UPS or FedEx shipping.
• Place packed orders on pallets for shipment.
• Learn and operate a sit-down forklift for loading and unloading trailers.

• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
• High attention to detail.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs during shifts.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, and using RF scanners.

• Sit-down forklift experience.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience as a shipping clerk.

Work Environment

Work the first shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Enjoy a temperature-controlled environment with minimal overtime, having worked only one Saturday since 2013.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
