Role Description The Licensed Massage Therapist is a on-call to part-time, on-site role located in Jacksonville, FL. In this position, the therapist provides professional bodywork services tailored to client needs, including relaxation, pain management, and stress reduction. Daily responsibilities include conducting client consultations, performing therapeutic massage sessions, documenting treatment plans, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The therapist is expected to manage appointment schedules, uphold hygiene and sanitation standards, and follow company policies and professional ethics. The role also involves building positive client relationships, educating clients on wellness practices, and collaborating with the team to ensure a high-quality service experience. Qualifications Strong skills in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to customize treatments based on client needs. Ability to support clients with Stress Management techniques and relaxation-focused bodywork. Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and professional communication. Current state license as a Massage Therapist in Florida, in good standing. Knowledge of professional ethics, safety, and hygiene standards in massage therapy. Physical stamina and proper body mechanics to perform massages safely throughout the workday.
