Warehouse Associate (Shipping & Receiving) - HVAC Company

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Industry: HVAC Distribution/Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our HVAC team. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and operating a sit-down forklift . Candidates must possess a current forklift certification and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment handling HVAC equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming HVAC parts, equipment, and materials.
Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Load and unload delivery trucks using a sit-down forklift and other warehouse equipment.
Move, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
Pick and stage orders for customer pickups and deliveries.
Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is completed correctly.
Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Keep warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Assist with other warehouse duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience required.
Experience in shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading materials.
Valid sit-down forklift certification required.
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
Experience working with HVAC products or industrial materials is a plus.
Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
