Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Certified Surgical Technologist Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Minimum Requirements: Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) BLS Certification 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment Experience with general surgery, including open and laparoscopic bowel procedures, gallbladder, appendix, and hernia cases Experience with urology, ENT, ophthalmology, GYN, and C-sections Heavy orthopedic experience required, including orthopedic trauma Experience with after-hours and on-call cases, including trauma, ER C-sections, and emergency general cases Assignment Details: Schedule: 0630-1500 daily Shift days: Monday through Friday Weekend rotation: on call only Call required: 1 shift per week and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks Weekday call hours: after 1500 to 0630 Weekend call hours: Friday 1500 to Monday 0630 for emergent cases only Call back time: 30 minutes Holiday expectations: on call only We deeply value your commitment to impacting others, that's why we offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package starting your first day.
