Program Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic, Gospel-focused team member who is willing to support the ministry of Hartland in our Program department. Our desire is to share the Gospel and teach God's Word to as many campers as we can each year. The ideal candidate will be teachable and have a heart for the Lord. Position Position: Program Coordinator Reports to: Program Manager Oversees: Recreation/Audio Visual "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve." Colossians 3:23-24 Mission Description Responsible for oversight of all Hartland recreation for rental groups as well as Hartland-sponsored camps. Coordinate staff; ensure safety of equipment and training. Oversee setup and operation of all audiovisual equipment. Assist in other departments as needed. The goal is to share the Gospel with as many campers as possible. Minimum Qualifications Personal relationship with Jesus Christ; attends church regularly Ability to pray with and encourage ministry partners Must be a self-starter, able to often work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner Must be able to receive direction, work on tasks when assigned, and meet deadlines Relational Intelligence: Friendly, persuasive, and able to represent the camp’s heart to pastors and leaders Demonstrate leadership ability, proactive, able to organize well and plan ahead Ability to be on stage and have a medium-to-high energy level (excite guests) Detail of Responsibilities A. Supervision Recreation staff B. Recreation Oversee setup and operation of all recreation equipment Assist with running games and tournaments for Hartland-sponsored programs Submit in writing all needed repairs and safety concerns to the Program Manager Complete minor repairs as assigned by Program Manager Maintain a well-organized system of storage for all recreation equipment Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment C. Marketing/Publications Assist with production and distribution of brochures, quarterly newsletter, quarterly Director’s Letter, website design and maintenance D. Medical Assist with maintaining nursing station supplies and equipment E. Front office Assist as needed at the counter and answering telephones F. Audio Visual Assist with setup of all A.V. equipment for both Hartland Sponsored and rental groups Operate A.V. equipment for Hartland Sponsored Camps including sound, Power Point, and videos G. Other departments Assist in other departments as needed H.
