Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering , or 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, machining, or paint finishing .
Understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, and quality processes.
3D CAD experience required; Pro-E/Creo preferred.
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive continuous improvement and develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing processes within the fabrication function, including lasers, brake presses, saws, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Improve fabrication processes, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Analyze manufacturing methods, machine utilization, material flow, tooling, and staffing requirements.
Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, procedures, and work instructions.
Lead improvement projects and coordinate with Production, Inventory Control, and Engineering teams.
Support capital equipment evaluation and develop economic justifications.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
