The 2nd Shift Haeger Machine Operator (Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM) plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining Haeger machines to produce high-quality components efficiently and safely.

This position is responsible for setting up the machine, monitoring performance, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output and consistent product quality. The operator works closely with quality control and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and minimize downtime.

Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintaining a safe working environment while meeting production goals. This role supports the overall manufacturing operation by ensuring products meet strict quality standards during second shift production.

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating Haeger machines or similar manufacturing equipment
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret production orders, blueprints, and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures

• Experience in a manufacturing environment on a 2nd shift schedule
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
• Basic computer skills for production tracking and data entry
• Certification in machine operation or industrial maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues independently

• Set up and operate Haeger machines according to production specifications
• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the shift
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Identify and report mechanical issues or defects promptly
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate with supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure product compliance

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential for properly setting up and operating Haeger machines while maintaining product quality and safety standards. The ability to read and interpret technical documents ensures accurate execution of production requirements.

Strong communication skills support coordination with supervisors, maintenance, and quality control teams to maintain smooth operations. Preferred troubleshooting skills and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles help reduce downtime and improve efficiency, while computer skills support accurate documentation and continuous improvement efforts.
