Director of HIM

I’m partnering with a growing, highly rated health system seeking an experienced HIM Leader to oversee and advance Health Information Management operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HIM functions including coding, legal medical records, ROI, transcription, chart completion, and compliance
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, Revenue Cycle, and Risk/Privacy teams
- Co-facilitate the Medical Records Committee
- Drive process improvement and support organizational growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Required
- RHIA/RHIT
- Epic experience required
- HIM leadership experience in acute care or multi-facility settings
- Strong regulatory and compliance knowledge
- Proven change management and collaboration skills
