What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments with inmates based on available records and clinical interviews
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and medical staff
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans to meet inmate needs
• Perform routine rounds in confined housing areas to assess mental health and adjustment
• Provide mental health counseling and crisis interventions for individuals in mental health crises
• Offer consultations with staff to understand and address escalated behavior and mental health issues
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure treatment activities are well integrated

What You Need

• Valid license or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist
• BLS certification (current or completed pending)
• Experience with mental health assessments and inpatient treatment preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
