Senior Director, Business Platform Strategy & Operations

Strategic leadership role overseeing regulatory platform operations and digital strategy execution at a pharmaceutical company. The position manages cross-functional teams and vendors to optimize business systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive innovation within the Regulatory Innovation & Information Management department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operations of assigned sub-unit reporting to RIIM Department Lead
- Drive platform lifecycle management, governance, and interoperability across regulatory systems
- Lead centralized capability for systems adoption, user analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage operational budgets, vendor contracts, and workforce planning for the sub-unit
- Translate GRACS digital strategy into execution with coordinated communications and change enablement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific, business operations, or IT field; master's degree or equivalent required
- 10+ years of regulatory operations experience
- 5+ years leading hybrid teams of employees, contractors, and vendors
- Significant Veeva RIM platform operations experience
- Expertise in regulatory capabilities, processes, and business operations
- Strong executive presence with demonstrated cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience managing CAPAs, NCIRs, audits, and health authority inspections
