Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $30.00 and $34.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Preventative Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production equipment through scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, servicing, and routine repairs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment and manufacturing systems
• Conduct equipment inspections to identify wear, deterioration, or potential failures before breakdowns occur
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues and perform repairs as needed
• Replace worn components including bearings, belts, filters, and other consumable parts
• Calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications and maintain optimal operating performance
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts usage within the company's maintenance management system
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and company safety policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC-controlled equipment, and industrial electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Experience performing preventative maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be at least 18 years of age and provide basic maintenance hand tools

Preferred

• Experience in plastics, packaging, food, or other high-speed manufacturing environments
• Experience with equipment calibration and predictive maintenance practices
• Technical certification in industrial maintenance or a related field
