• Role Description:

ELEVENELEVEN is seeking an experienced, driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the company's wholesale sales strategy, marketing initiatives, and brand growth throughout New Jersey. This individual will be responsible for building and managing the sales organization, developing strategic marketing campaigns, strengthening dispensary relationships, and increasing market share as ELEVENELEVEN continues to expand.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with cannabis industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

• Develop and execute statewide wholesale sales strategy
• Recruit, train, and manage the sales team
• Oversee three regional Sales Representatives (North, Central, and South Jersey)
• Establish sales goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
• Build and maintain relationships with dispensaries and key accounts
• Negotiate wholesale contracts and pricing
• Identify new business opportunities throughout New Jersey
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends
• Prepare sales forecasts and pipeline reports

Marketing Leadership

• Oversee all marketing strategy and execution
• Manage the Marketing Manager
• Oversee a team of Brand Ambassadors
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
• Plan product launches and promotional campaigns
• Coordinate events, vendor days, and industry activations
• Collaborate with cultivation and operations to align inventory with marketing efforts
• Approve marketing materials and promotional content

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with Operations, Cultivation, Vault, and Strategic Initiatives
• Partner with Logistics and the Vault team to ensure timely customer deliveries
• Provide regular sales forecasts to leadership
• Assist with annual budgeting and strategic planning
• Represent ELEVENELEVEN at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of sales leadership experience
• 2+ years of cannabis industry experience preferred
• Experience managing sales teams
• Strong understanding of New Jersey cannabis regulations and wholesale market
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities
• Experience using CRM platforms
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout New Jersey

Preferred

• Existing relationships with New Jersey dispensaries
• Marketing leadership experience
• Experience launching consumer brands
• Startup or high-growth company experience

Compensation

• Salary: $100,000–$115,000
• Performance bonus based on wholesale revenue growth and KPIs
