Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Nights located in the designated healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized obstetric care, including high-risk labor and delivery support, postpartum care, and neonatal assessments. The role requires a registered nurse with related clinical experience, flexibility to work at night, and the ability to manage diverse patient populations across the antepartum and postpartum units.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas (KS) or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D); BLS, AWHONN Advanced (American Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Intermediate, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications in hand at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetric patients, labor and delivery procedures, and neonatal care.
• Additional Information: Position involves care of laboring patients including management of high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes, C-sections, external cephalic version, and postpartum patient stabilization. Floating to similar units within the scope of practice may be required. Orientation hours are provided onsite, with modules completed during orientation.
