The Goddard School of Simpsonville – Five Forks is seeking an organized, dependable, and energetic Kitchen Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with previous childcare experience who enjoys working with children, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly. The Kitchen Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting both our kitchen operations and classrooms throughout the day. We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently, stay organized, and jump in wherever help is needed. Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Competitive salary Dental insurance Employee discounts Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off Tuition assistance Vision insurance Responsibilities Include: Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment Following meal schedules and ensuring lunches are delivered to classrooms on time Monitoring kitchen inventory and communicating supply needs for ordering Preparing and distributing morning snacks to classrooms Picking up and washing lunch dishes and ensuring they are returned to classrooms as neededPreparing snacks for the following day Providing bathroom breaks and classroom support for teachers Floating between classrooms to assist with supervision and daily classroom needs Supporting school operations as needed to ensure a positive experience for children, families, and staff Qualifications: Previous childcare experience preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude Ability to adapt to changing needs throughout the day Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented Must be able to meet all state licensing requirements for employment in a childcare setting What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying busy, notices what needs to be done without being asked, and takes initiative to support the entire school.
