This role owns the strategic direction and execution of a major functional area, translating enterprise priorities into product strategy while influencing outcomes across the business.What you will be doingProduct Strategy and VisionDefine and lead the long-term vision and product strategy for CareScout Insurance, aligned with enterprise growth and customer needsEvaluate aging trends, funding dynamics, and market opportunities to shape innovative solutionsDrive a multi-year roadmap that integrates insurance products with broader CareScout services ecosystemPortfolio Leadership and PerformanceOwn the full product lifecycle from concept through launch, scaling and optimizationEstablish and manage profitability, risk and performance metrics to guide executive decisionsContinuously assess portfolio health and optimize offerings to improve growth, margin and customer outcomesInnovation and Product DevelopmentLead the design and launch of new long-term care insurance solutions, including alternative funding models and hybrid offeringsTranslate customer insights and market intelligence into differentiated product features and experiences that ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journeyEnsure strong execution of new product introduction, including regulatory readiness, pricing alignment, and go to market strategyCross-Functional LeadershipAs part of the CareScout leadership team, partner closely with Finance, Distribution, Underwriting and Claims to deliver integrated solutionsDevelop leadership capabilities within the team and foster a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvementDrive alignment and clarity across stakeholders to enable speed and decisivenessWhat you bring15+ years of experience in product management, insurance, or financial services with a deep expertise in insurance product design.Proven track record of leading product strategy and P&L ownership at scaleExperience with long-term care, life/health insurance, or adjacent markets strongly preferredStrong enterprise leadership mindset, with ability to influence at C-suite level and across functionsDemonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver measurable outcomesStrategic, forward-thinking and comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONNational Range: $195,800 - 303,000NYC Range: $195,800 - 303,000Disclaimer: This role will be located in Richmond, VA or New York City. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan.
