QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER (DIRECT HIRE)
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
$55,000 – $80,000 annually (DOE)
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality assurance and inspection processes in a manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead and oversee all Quality Control operations and daily inspection activities.
- Develop, implement, and improve quality procedures, SOPs, and inspection processes.
- Investigate quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality trends, warranty data, and product performance to improve reliability.
- Supervise, train, and mentor the Quality Control team.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Technical Support to resolve quality issues.
- Oversee incoming material inspections and supplier quality performance.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or refrigeration systems.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and mechanical assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access).
- Knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and manufacturing best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and crouching, throughout the workday.
