Quality Manager

Quality Manager - Midlothian, TX Job Duties Responsible for the Quality Management System Managing a team of scientists in the QA/QC departments Approving new and existing procedures that affect product and material quality Collaborating with Regulatory Affairs Overseeing MOC, OOS, Deviation, and CAPA programs Ensuring efficiency and safety in the lab Maintaining SOPs and other documentation on the internal document management system In charge of running customer audits as requested in a timely manner Developing new programs to improve efficiency and workflow Schedule Day Shift M-F 7:00 AM-4:00 PM CST Pay $130,000 - $145,000 USD yearly, depending on experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications BS in Chemistry or a related field preferred Internal Auditor Training Experience with ISO 9001 and CGMP Preferred Lean or Six Sigma Certification 7+ years experience in a CGMP environment, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry 3+ years of experience in a management/supervisor/lead role Experience collaborating between Quality and Operations departments Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Midlothian, TX.
