CNC Programmer/Operator

What You’ll Do:
- Analyze specifications : Review job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate dimensions, select tools, and determine machine speeds.
- Program CNC machines : Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency.
- CNC setup & calibration : Set up CNC equipment, calibrate tools, and ensure proper machine function before production.
- Trial runs & adjustments : Perform trial simulations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
- Safety & cleanliness : Follow all safety standards, wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Cross-departmental support : Assist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education : High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience : At least 2 years of experience programming and setting up 3-axis CNC mills.
- CAM software : Experience with CAM software preferred.
- Technical knowledge : Strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes.
- Mathematics & communication : Solid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details.
- Problem-solving & teamwork : Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Physical requirements : Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Work ethic : Dependable with a commitment to high-quality, precise work standards.
Your Schedule:
- 2nd Shift : Monday – Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
