Security Operations SpecialistJoin Virginia Housing and help make a difference as a Security Operations Specialist.This important role will primarily provide support to both the Security Manager and the Logistics Lead in the areas of Building Security, Safety and Technical Support, Business Continuity, and Operational Support. When either the Security Manager or Logistics Lead is unavailable, the Security Operations Associate will assume their routine daily responsibilities.Virginia Housing is one of the nation's leading housing finance agencies. Educational opportunities to help your advancement are available through classroom and online programs.To be successful in this role you must possess:Associate degree/equivalent or several years of equivalent work experience in security operations, safety or logistics project management.Knowledge of concepts and terminology regarding security operations, business continuity, safety, fleet management, and facilities operations.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to change priorities without losing productivity and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.Strong user skills with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft applications.Skill in composing routine correspondence and communicating verbally.Knowledge of and ability to learn computerized security software and asset management principles.Demonstrated ability to remain poised and courteous in busy environment.This position requires incumbents to drive for Virginia Housing business purposes.
