Payroll Specialist

Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive company in Smyrna, GA that is seeking a Payroll Specialist. This is a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE position that is expected to convert to a permanent position . Only candidates in the Atlanta, GA area will be considered since in-office workis required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience processing multi-state payroll in a high-volume environment is REQUIRED. Union and/or certified payroll experience is preferred. Must be comfortable entering new hire information, processing garnishments, and inputting tax information. Must have strong Excel skills to identify and resolve errors. Must have customer-service mindset and respond promptly to employee questions regarding payroll. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
