Senior Civil Engineer

Senior Civil Engineer – Remediation Team AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and support Environmental Remediation and Coal Ash closure projects within the department. Job Responsibilities Serve as senior technical resource and technical advisor for the team. Provide specialized technical input to studies and design in the area of expertise. Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high‑quality cost‑effective work by others. Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables. Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects. Use expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package. Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings. Prepare technical specification sections. Provide input to development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements. Minimum Requirements BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field+ 6years of related experienceor demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Experience with Coal Combustion Residuals (CCR) Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review. Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 7+ years of relevant experience at an engineering consulting firm. Ability to proactively lead technical efforts and project team staff. Experience as Senior Project Engineer on large scale projects, including landfills, material excavation and dewatering, and coal ash closure OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification.
