Steakhouse Food Runner

Position Overview We are looking for a fast, detail-oriented Food Runner to join ourArrowhead Grill team. You will be the crucial final link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring every prime cut and signature side arrives at the table hot, pristine, and exactly as ordered. Positive and respectful work environment where diversity is valued. Key Responsibilities Deliver dishes promptly and at the correct temperature from the kitchen line to guest tables. Identify and verify every dish against tickets to ensure complete accuracy before serving. Articulate menu items clearly to guests upon delivery, including steak cuts, preparation styles, and specialized sauces. Support front-of-house staff by clearing empty plates, wiping tables, and replenishing water or bread. Maintain communication between servers and the kitchen regarding timing and special dietary requests. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Prior experience in a high-volume or fine-dining restaurant is highly preferred. Physical Stamina: Ability to carry heavy oval trays (up to 30 lbs) and stand/walk for long shifts. Pace: Exceptional speed, coordination, and the ability to thrive under high-pressure dinner rushes. Professionalism: Sharp appearance, polite demeanor, and strong teamwork skills.
