Job Title: Saw Person
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Springfield, MA
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable Saw Person to join our production team. This position is responsible for accurately cutting metal materials to specified lengths and dimensions according to production requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial saw equipment, reading measurements, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial saws and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure and cut materials according to work orders and specifications.
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after cutting.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine cleaning of the work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with other production tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or saw operation experience preferred.
- Ability to read measuring tools and follow specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
