Position Details Title: grounds keeper-nonstudent Department: Athletics-Grounds Employment Type: Employee Additional Schedule Information: Advertised Salary: Not specified, Anticipated Start Date: 12/01/2024, Posting Date: 11/04/2024, Closing Date: Open Until Filled Responsibilities Assist with daily maintenance of playing surfaces at various athletic facilities, including mowing, irrigating, and traveling to the facilities. Assist with maintenance of common areas at athletic facilities. Assist with game-day setup for various sporting events. Assist with fertilizer applications at various athletic fields. Assist with painting playing fields at Sanford Stadium and other athletic facilities for practice and games. Assist with post‑game care of playing surfaces at Sanford Stadium (filling divots, removing team benches and dog house). Perform other related work as required. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge, skills, abilities, or competencies relevant to ground maintenance and athletic facility support. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in moderate to high noise conditions. Driving required.
