Position Overview

We're in search of a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound / Sonography Technician ready to join a supportive team of imaging specialists devoted to delivering outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear explanations throughout the procedure
• Work closely with physicians and radiologists to ensure quality diagnostic images
• Effectively maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Document procedures accurately, maintaining comprehensive patient records in the electronic system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent is mandatory
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
