Dialysis Technician

Dialysis TechnicianThe Dialysis Technician provides direct patient care and technical support during dialysis treatments within a clinical healthcare setting. This role is responsible for preparing dialysis equipment, monitoring patients throughout treatment, documenting patient information, maintaining equipment and infection control standards, and supporting the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.QualificationsPrevious dialysis technician experience requiredCurrent CPR/BLS certification requiredKnowledge of hemodialysis procedures, infection control standards, and patient care practicesAbility to monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately during dialysis-related emergenciesExperience documenting patient care within EMR systems preferredStrong communication, observation, and teamwork skillsAbility to follow detailed clinical protocols and safety proceduresPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients as neededPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in correctional healthcare, hospital, or clinical dialysis settings preferredCertification as a Dialysis Technician preferredExperience working within interdisciplinary healthcare teams preferred
