This full-time contract opportunity has you on-site weekdays from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, offering the chance to make a direct impact within a supportive educational team.

Ideal candidates should have:

• Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter
• A current EIPA score of at least 3.0 or higher
• Previous experience supporting elementary-aged students (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers and staff
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering clear and effective interpretation services between students, staff, and the wider school community
• Supporting deaf or hard-of-hearing students to help them fully participate in classroom activities and school life
• Facilitating effective communication to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Preparing for assignments by reviewing relevant materials and collaborating with educational staff as needed
• Upholding district policies and adhering to recognized ethical standards of interpretation
