Material Handler - Weekend Day Shift

Material Controller IValmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Material Controller I position in the Global Utility Division. Additionally, you will...Receive, issue, and physically move Valmont materials and products in a safe and efficient mannerProvide accurate and timely documentation of material and product movementProvide accurate and timely distribution of materials to production to meet production needs.Operate various types of material handling equipment including forklifts and overhead craneInterpret production plans and shipping orders to provide the required levels of material handling and shippingCount material inventory and reconcile inventory cycle discrepanciesDemonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors which conform to all Valmont safety policies and proceduresRequired QualificationsMust be able to be forklift and crane certifiedThe ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environmentThe ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive mannerMust have a high awareness for safety at all timesThe ability to work through problems with minimum amount of assistance from the leadperson or supervisorThe ability to work timely and expeditiously to deliver an on-time result without errorsHighly qualified candidates will also possess:High School Diploma or GED equivalentOne year of previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environmentThe ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructionsThe ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issuesMust be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional resultsValmont offers employees and their families a comprehensive Total Wellbeing benefit package to ensure their individual and family's overall wellness needs are met.
