RN II Float – Resource Pool RN Float- Full Time / Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022 Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Days Shift; 7A-7P x3 shifts/week with rotating weekends, holidays, no on call Department Highlights - Resource Pool Specialty Nurse - Floating between Observation, PCU/CSU, and Med Surg units Education Education - Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or - Associate's Degree Nursing required Or - Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Experience Experience - 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required - 1 year experience PCU as a Registered Nurse preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (if required for float dept) 90 days required CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 60 days required What You Will Do Basic Human Needs - Responds to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological and social needs.
