Outside Sales Representative Residential Elevators (Austin, TX)
Job Type: Full-time Pay: (75-100k base + commission) Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, vehicle/mileage, phone
About the Role
We're looking for an Outside Sales Representative to grow our residential elevator business in the Austin, TX market. You'll build relationships with home builders, contractors, and architects, win new construction projects, and partner with renovators to retrofit existing homes with custom elevators. Your territory is primarily Austin, with some flexibility beyond.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a referral and sales network of home builders, contractors, and architects
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, sales calls, and industry networking events
- Educate homeowners and trade partners on the value of residential elevators
- Identify bid opportunities and prepare competitive bids and proposals
- Act as a technical consultant and trusted advisor throughout the sales process
- Track activity in our CRM and build quotes with our quoting software
- Meet revenue and profitability goals
- Share performance updates and market insights with the Director of Sales
Requirements
- 2+ years of outside sales experience (relationship building, negotiation, closing)
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Experience with CRM software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Nice to Have
- Residential elevator experience
- Experience selling to home builders or in the home construction industry
