Location: Schervier Nursing Home
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Position Overview:
The Admissions Coordinator will play a crucial role in guiding potential residents and their families through the admissions process. This individual will manage inquiries, provide necessary information, assist with required paperwork, and ensure a smooth transition for new residents. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to inquiries from prospective residents and families, providing detailed information about our services and the admissions process.
• Manage and process all required admissions paperwork, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to verify eligibility and coverage.
• Maintain accurate records of admissions and related documentation.
• Provide tours of the facility and answer questions regarding services, accommodations, and activities.
• Work closely with the clinical team to ensure all resident care needs are met prior to admission.
• Serve as a liaison between families, prospective residents, and internal teams to facilitate smooth admissions.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare admissions, customer service, or a similar role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to assist residents and families.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance processes is a plus.
