FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. Key Details Full‑time position Location: Cartersville Primary School – 315 Etowah Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120 (openings available at other district locations) Schedule: Monday through Friday; hours may vary. Full and part‑time flexible schedules available. Prior floor care experience preferred. Pay: $12.50 – $13.00 per hour. Same‑day pay; comprehensive benefits package. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and proper procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Preferred: previous experience as a floor care technician or related role. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Ability to follow safety procedures. Capacity for frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
