Summary Description Under the direction of the middle school principal, plans and provides appropriate learning experiences for adolescent students. Working with interdisciplinary teams, creates a school culture conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of adolescents to ensure success for every student. Supervises middle school students in various school‑related settings. Communicates and collaborates with students, staff, parents, and the community. Develops, selects, and differentiates instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all middle school students. Maintains appropriate records, follows required procedures and practices, and uses data analysis to monitor student achievement. Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities. Physical demands: As required by the duties and responsibilities of the job. Special requirements: Required to attend school meetings, programs, and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the MCEA agreement. Job Specific Information The wage range for this position is a salary between $64,591 and $131,472 based on education and experience.
