Senior Controls Engineer (Automation)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to lead the design and implementation of automation systems in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls engineering, with a focus on developing innovative solutions for complex machinery and systems integration challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop control systems for various industrial applications.Implement automation solutions using PLC programming and HMI configuration.Integrate pneumatic and hydraulic systems into design projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.Perform system testing and troubleshooting to optimize performance and reliability.Create and maintain detailed documentation for control systems and design specifications.Utilize design software such as AutoCAD and Studio5000 for system layouts and programming.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation technology.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering and automation.Proficiency in PLC programmingExperience with control system design, including UL508 standards.Knowledge of robotics and motion control systems.Familiarity with FactoryTalk and other HMI software.Strong understanding of electrical circuit design and control systems.Benefits- Medical, Dental, Vision - 401(k) Matching- PTO and Sick Pay - Life Insurance - HSA & so much more!
