About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director or Vice President of Leasing to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategic leasing plan for a portfolio of properties. This includes the continuous identification of prospective new tenants, maintaining relationships with local and national retailers and real estate brokers, and actively participating in the preparation of annual leasing budgets. The role also involves being an expert in the markets of the assigned properties, driving the speed of lease execution, and developing and implementing leasing and marketing strategies to ensure budget projections are met or exceeded. Applicants must have 7-10 years of leasing experience, with a proven track record in negotiating leases with national retailers. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, possess strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, and have the ability to multitask and prioritize a high volume of deals. A self-starter with a problem-solving mindset, the ability to work with a high degree of professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential. The role requires proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to travel frequently as needed. The candidate should be collaborative, respectful, and inclusive, with a positive attitude and a strong sense of urgency to consistently outperform.
