Description:
Seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join a hospital-based IR team.
The position involves providing hospital-based interventional radiology services with a day-shift schedule.
Call coverage is required on a Q3 basis, meaning every third weekday and every third weekend.
The practice team consists of three physicians and two advanced practice providers.
The average number of cases per day is approximately eight.
Procedures required include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization.
Additional preferred procedures may include orthopedic, gynecological, and urological cases.
The facility provides support staff, including a manager and two advanced practice providers.
Credentialing timeframe is estimated to be around 90 days, with a focus on fast tracking for urgent needs.
Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate for local providers.
No travel or relocation reimbursement will be covered.
