Job Title: Physician Assistant

Experience: Neonatal experience required; new graduates not accepted

License: Must hold an active state license

Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

Must-Have: Board certified, current NRP advanced provider or instructor status

Description:


Seeking a Physician Assistant to fulfill a necessity in the Neonatology specialty.

Coverage is needed due to staffing shortages.

The practice is in an inpatient Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III).

Average patient load is approximately 10 to 12 patients per day per APP.

Documentation system utilized is Epic.

The APP will function under supervision.

The supervising physician will be present during the assignment.

Required procedures include delivery room attendance, neonatal resuscitation, PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration, and chest tube placement.

Patient demographic includes neonates.
