You will be an integral part of a team committed to providing exceptional customer service to our clients.Job duties include the following:Starting Salary: $16.08 / HourlyMust be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidaysGreet patrons at Convention Center Box OfficeAccurately process sale of public admission tickets and collect payments; calculate changeAccurately reconcile large sums of transactionsAccurately calculate and make changeOperate POS, credit card machine, computerized ticketing system, calculator, computer, multi-function device (copier, printer, fax machine)Provide accurate event and visitor information to guestsAbility to direct patrons to the correct room/hall in the building hosting ticketed eventAbility to work with Duty Managers, Security, EMT, and Police with crowd management during heavily attended eventsExcellent verbal communications skills with both internal and external customersMust wear uniform provided in accordance with Convention Center uniform policiesExcellent customer service skillsAbility to sit for extended periods of time as well as stand, crouch, bend, or kneelAbility to withstand loud entertainmentMust be able to get along with co-workers and work as a teamMust report all completed work to the Box Office Supervisor and/or Account Clerk SupervisorRequired to complete Crowd Manager Training, Integrity Connection for Members and First Aid/CPR/Stop the Bleed within six months of hire and maintain certificationIn addition to the minimum requirements, the ideal candidate for this position will have experience listed in the preferences below.
