About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy General Counsel, Product to join their mission of revolutionizing heart health management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and scalable legal guidance across the product portfolio, with a focus on AI-powered health technologies. This includes leading the negotiation of customer-facing contractual provisions, advising on the development of legal protections, and ensuring compliance with complex regulatory requirements. The role also involves partnering with various teams to support commercial transactions, particularly in the area of data use and sharing agreements, and to address emerging legal needs as the company continues to grow. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school, an active state bar license, and at least 15 years of legal experience in healthcare, digital health, or health technology. Strong AI fluency and experience with FDA-regulated software or digital health products are highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in product counseling, commercial transactions, and a deep understanding of legal issues related to AI and machine learning in healthcare. Responsibilities also include providing legal guidance on a wide range of issues, from telehealth services to intellectual property matters, and monitoring industry trends and legal developments. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a growth-minded approach to adapting to evolving regulatory environments.
