Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well by assessing patient needs, developing recovery plans, and delivering physical therapy. You bring their power back, designing programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities. You are adaptable, collaborate with peers, and may refer patients to additional care. You are a teacher who trains patients and caregivers on skills that promote independence and productivity. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility. Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience. If the qualifying Physical Therapy degree was earned outside of the U.S., it must be evaluated to be the U.S. equivalent to a degree in Physical Therapy.
