This role is responsible for coaching and providing direction to student-athletes to help them achieve high skill levels while fostering an appreciation for physical fitness, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Note: This position requires travel, evening/weekend work, and involvement in summer league program development. Key Responsibilities Program Support: Assist in coordinating and supervising the JV Girls Volleyball program and developing training schedules Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to Branson and League policies; maintain a safe environment for student-athletes at all times Student Supervision: Supervise athletes at home and away games; ensure adherence to training rules, academic requirements, and behavioral standards Communication: Maintain regular contact with parents regarding team operations; resolve conflicts in a professional manner Operations: Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance of equipment and uniforms; manage inventory Administrative: Complete Paycom timecards punctually and maintain all required certifications and training hours Position Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred) Experience: 1–2 years of coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level (preferred) Certifications: CPR Certified through the American Red Cross; valid driver’s license (required to drive athletes to off-campus events) Skills: Strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to prioritize and solve problems Qualities: Ability to interact professionally with a diverse community, maintain confidentiality, and represent Branson with integrity Physical Requirements Strength: Heavy work—exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally and 50 lbs frequently Mobility: Ability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and bend at the hips and knees Environment: Ability to work in noisy, crowded environments and carry training kits/coolers Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Branson is an Equal Opportunity Employer and makes decisions based on the merits of each candidate.
