Registered Nurse Cardiac Acute Care Night Shift

This full-time night shift opportunity in an inpatient acute cardiac unit is ideal for experienced and early-career RNs who are ready to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN or MSN preferred)
• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
• BLS certification required at time of hire
• ACLS and completion of Critical Care Course required within 12 months of hire
• Dysrhythmia course required within 6 months of hire
• National certification in cardiac or critical care preferred
• Must complete 8 hours of stroke education annually
• Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program within 6 months of hire (if not already graduated) and complete degree within three years

What You Will Do:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute cardiac setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status
• Develop individualized plans of care using evidence-based practice
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and interdisciplinary team members
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
• Supervise delegated tasks and support patient safety initiatives
