Marketing Assistant

Hourly : $20-$25 an hour based on experience About Southern Cross Hospitality Southern Cross Hospitality (SCH) is a growing restaurant group based in Savannah, GA, best known for The Collins Quarter, Fishbar, Ukiyo, The Fitzroy, Doki Doki, and The Deck on Tybee Island. We've recently welcomed our eighth concept, La Vetta, and are working towards opening an elevated cocktail lounge this fall. Each of our venues has its own distinct identity, concept, and menu, united by a shared commitment to genuine hospitality. About the Role We're seeking a Marketing Assistant with a strong interest in food & beverage to join our growing hospitality group. This is a full-time, marketing-focused role that also includes administrative and secretarial support. You'll work closely with our existing Marketing Coordinator, playing a key role in shaping guest communications, brand perception, and overall guest satisfaction across our restaurant portfolio. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented people-person who enjoys telling hospitality-focused stories and collaborating across teams. Key Responsibilities Own review and reputation management Assist with the design and optimization of email campaigns Support promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns Maintain online menus and production of physical menu changes Assist with strategy and ideation for monthly social media content and brand-wide campaigns Assist with small design projects as needed, such as A-frame signs and event signage Assist with general administrative tasks including printing, filing, organization, and menu production Qualifications Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with the Adobe Suite, social media editing tools, and drafting tools preferred Who You Are A strong written and verbal communicator This role is ideal for a recent graduate Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Curious, responsible, and eager to learn A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally Self-directed, organized, and adaptable Dining benefits at all SCH locations (50% off food) Real opportunity to grow with a dynamic and expanding hospitality group Why This Role This position is a great fit for a recent graduate with a degree in communications, marketing, graphic design or social media who's looking for room to be creative and explore different areas of the industry.
