Project Manager

LHH has a client who needs a Rochester NY – Project Manager will be preparing monthly journal entries from worksheets, maintains daily records for all inventory elements, performs monthly reconciliations related to inventory reporting. Oversee metal receiving functions along with maintain accurate daily records for all metal receipts to reconcile the activity to inventory reporting and billings and book the necessary journal entries to record the metal receipt activity, which includes the appropriate cost variances (purchase price variances) for this activity. What You'll Do: Plan, direct, and coordinate non-IT projects across engineering, R&D, financial systems, product rollouts, and other business functions. Develop detailed project plans, coordinate technical activities, and ensure projects remain aligned with goals, timelines, and deliverables. Prepare and present project proposals, reports, findings, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate project staff while supporting the development and maintenance of team capabilities. Assess technology, resource requirements, market demand, and overall project feasibility. Collaborate with management, production, and marketing teams to define project specifications, procedures, and requirements. Review and recommend or approve project contracts, budgets, and cost estimates. Monitor project costs, resources, quality, and processes to support efficient project execution and delivery. What You\'ll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 5–7 years of project management or related professional experience. PMI or PMP certification preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, cost management, and distribution practices. Understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, business management, and production methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint, as well as project management and visualization tools such as MS Project and Visio.
