Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis therapies. Ensure patient safety and compliance while supporting the multidisciplinary team across multiple care settings.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, adhering to prescribed protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac status using telemetry and central monitoring stations.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and post-treatment care.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations during treatments.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and facility policies, including mandatory EKG exams.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license and meet state licensing requirements.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Possess knowledge of dialysis modalities, equipment, and related procedures.
  
  
• 
  Pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam, with a maximum of two attempts.
  
  
• 
  Complete required third-party education verification prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit flexibility to float across multiple hospital campuses as needed.
