Associate Director of Market access & Payer Strategy

Becton Dickinson seeks an Associate Director of Market Access & Payer Strategy to lead insurance coverage expansion and reimbursement initiatives for Liberator Medical Supply's urology and ostomy product lines. The role focuses on securing in-network participation, expanding covered lives across multiple payer channels, and driving national growth of the PureWick product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute national payer access strategy to increase participation across commercial, Medicare Advantage, and government health plans
• Lead contract negotiations with national and regional health plans to secure favorable reimbursement rates and terms
• Establish Medicare Advantage expansion strategy focused on increasing beneficiary access to PureWick and related products
• Partner with CMS, state Medicaid agencies, and policy stakeholders to secure coverage pathways and fee schedule opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with revenue cycle, operations, clinical affairs, and commercial teams on payer implementation

Requirements

• Strategic market access and payer contracting experience in medical devices or healthcare
• Demonstrated success negotiating with national and regional health plans
• Knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payer landscapes
• Experience with CMS and state Medicaid agency engagement
• Ability to develop clinical evidence and health economic business cases
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
